THE MIDDLE SEASON 3 EPISODE 12 RECAP

Happy new year also comes to Heck’s family. As usual, Mike and his children would just go to bed right after watching the new year ceremony. But Frankie suggested that each member ask each other to have a new year resolution like Axl was told to clean his room, Brick was told not to read a book and Mike was told to be smiling more than ever. Frankie was asked to be more paying attention to her son, Brick. Frankie did feel terrible after she realized she didn’t have much time with Brick. She didn’t even know his favorite color. She just knew him as a book person. 

Meanwhile Mike tried to smile at work but it didn’t work out best for him. He felt awkward. Sue advised him to be more relaxing toward people but Mike couldn’t get it. While Her father tried to be nice to people, Axl cleaned his room and tide it out. He accidently found his old paper work and remembered that if he got As at an English test, he would get a giant cookie. So he went to his old teacher and tried to earn A from the teacher but failed because he still doesn’t understand ‘there, their, they’re’. He was embarrased about this. 

While things happen, Frankie brought Brick to her work place to show her affection toward her son. They were having a good time and Frankie finally got to know her son’s favorite color; Yellow. Right back at home, Frankie was proudly saying she was having good moments with her son but Mike asked her where he was now. She freaked out saying she left him at the work place. Frankie found him and felt guilty about forgetting to take him home. But anyway things turned out great and the family would have dinner at a restaurant where they have promised to go if each member of the family got to succeed in keeping their behavior like they were told to do.
