THE MIDDLE SEASON 3 EPISODE 8 RECAP

A college recruiter got impressed by Axl’s play in football. He asked him to see if he can visit him at Axl’s house.

Axl told the news to his parents who got excited about scholarships. But Frankie and Mike got worried about their son. Axl has been not that nice a son to them. So They were afraid that Axl’s first impression to the recruiter could be influenced by Axl’s poor behavior. They talked to him about things that should not happen in front of the recruiter but Axl didn’t listen to their advice. On the day when recruiter visit the house, Frankie and Mike were concerned about his son. Suprisingly his son behaved so nicely which his parents had never seen before this kind side of him. They got upset ironically after the recruiter left. They asked why he did behave that way so beautifully but did not at home. Axl just told them that he didn’t do his best at home. That changed Frankie’s way of thinking. She realized she didn’t do her best at home and sought a comfort as soon as she got home. So she tried hard to cook a dinner for her family but the others didn’t care about her efforts. She got angry and shouted out to her family that they didn’t appreciate her efforts. Mike followed angry Frankie to their room and saying to her ‘Let’s set a date for our night.’ Frankie agreed with that. After the tiring days, they forgot to go bowling but didn’t seem to care much about that. They just knew being comfort at home is their best place to be themselves.

Yeah Mike is always the only man who comforts his wife’s anger. This episode was very relatable to our lives. We did our best when we are with others but our family like behaving so nicely and kindly to others when we are outside of our house. My family might not know my social ‘me’ as well. Sometimes I think I also have to try my best to be nice and polite to my family.
